THE BRIEF AND INTRODUCTIONG4 Creative meets with the potential client to review their design needs and budget. After this initial meeting, a decision is made by both parties on whether to move forward based on budget, time frame and the overall project scope. The project brief is where G4 gathers all the necessary information and client ideas. This is where we decide the core elements, features and specifics to make this project a success.
CONTENT GATHERING AND REVIEWIn order for G4 to present an accurate and fair proposal, the client must present all content, photos and sample items for use in the site or design project. |
DRAWING UP THE PROPOSALOnce we reviewed all the information from above we will draw up a proposal. Our proposal will contain the following main items:
CONCEPT REVIEWOnce the proposal is accepted, signed and the retainer check provided, G4 will begin the conceptual process. In this process we will determine the foundation of the entire design project. The site map will be created from the content provided by the client. In this stage we also decide the theme, color theory and over all feel for the project. This will be presented to the client in the concept review meeting. |
MOCK-UPSOnce the general concept is approved we begin designing your new project. The mock-up stage is the first visual presentation of your project. This part of the approval process will determine the outcome of your project. Mock- up approval is critical. G4 cannot move on to the next stage without this approval.
PRODUCTIONProduction is where the rubber meets the road. All approved ideas, concepts, content and mock-ups will be collected and implemented into final product. During the production phase G4 conducts a series of preliminary tests; we check for spelling mistakes and confirm that all specifications are met. |
TESTING AND FINAL CLIENT REVIEWOnce the project is near completion we conduct an in depth test of functionality and accuracy. The client is also encouraged to test or review the project to make sure everything works as agreed upon. G4 then tests the technology side of each project to make sure the project meets its full potential. Once all testing is complete we encourage the client to review the project one more time to make sure any issues have been corrected. The final proof sheet will be provided for the client to sign and return to G4. Only then can the items be sent live to the web or to the printing press.
LAUNCHAfter final sign off, the project will be sent to its final state. For the web, we launch the web site to the specified server. |
