THE BRIEFThe first and most important step in the creative process is gathering information from our client. Without this, we have no clear path. We need to understand who they are and get a feel for their company culture. To put it simply, we need to get to know our client so that we can create a logo that represents them well. We write the brief using the information that we gather, and this becomes our guide.
RESEARCHOur next, most important step is getting to know our client's business and the industry in which it is operating. We learn about their industry, its history, and we research their competitors as well.
VISUAL RESEARCHThis time, our research involves looking at the design styles the industry is using. We determine common themes, trends, what colors or symbols are being used. Inspiration comes from this research as well as ideas on how to make our client stand out and be noticed.
CONCEPTUALIZATIONThis is both the most fun and and the most challenging step of logo design. This is where the fire of creativity is stoked, and we turn the design brief and all of our research into a visual representation of you, our client. We come up with around 15 designs (sometimes more) based on both simple and complex concepts.

REGENERATIONIn the creative process, stepping away from designing helps to recharge and reboot our brains. Creating, though fun, can be draining as well, so we take breaks and come back refueled and re-energized with fresh ideas.
POSITIONINGDesigners can choose to position themselves either as production artists or experts in their field. Those who create something per a client's instructions are mostly focused on production. At G4 Creative, we are experts in our field. We are creative directors, managers, and senior level artists who each have at least a decade of experience behind us. We will listen to your needs and come up with smart solutions that will fit your budget. In addition, we will also advise you on how to keep costs down and what to wisely invest on so you can save money in the long run.
PRESENTATIONHere we take the designs from step 4 and narrow them down to a select few. They are critiqued and, if needed, revised by the team and presented to the client for approval. The approval process begins at this point and ends with the client's blessing on the final logo. |
